- Compensation: $45 - 50-/hr C2C or 1099 OR $85,000/yr W2
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in ERP systems and user acceptance testing (UAT). This role involves collaborating with leadership, technical teams, and functional staff to support ERP implementations and ensure successful business process redesigns. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical proficiency, and hands-on experience in testing ERP modules and tools.
Scope of Work:
- Perform testing activities to validate ERP implementations, including executing test plans and creating test scripts.
- Assist in business process redesign efforts by conducting testing and reporting activities.
- Track and report test results to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership and technical/functional staff to communicate findings and propose solutions.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio, Smartsheet, or similar tools to document processes and track progress.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- ERP Testing Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience testing ERP systems, including modules such as:
PeopleSoft Modules
- Financials
- Human Capital Management (HCM)
- Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA).
- Business Process Knowledge: Proven experience assisting in business process redesign and validating system implementations.
Testing Expertise: Demonstrated ability to:
- Create and execute test scripts with expected results.
- Develop and execute UAT plans.
- Track and report test results effectively.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio, and collaboration tools like Smartsheet.
Preferred Qualifications:
Government Experience:
- Experience working with state or large government entities in ERP testing, particularly with organizations of comparable size and complexity.
PeopleSoft Expertise:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Commitment Control
- Contracts, Project Closing
- Purchase Orders/Encumbrances
- Asset Management
- General Ledger, Billing
- Grants
- Human Capital Management.
Advanced Knowledge:
- Familiarity with PeopleTools 8.59+ and experience testing Financials, HCM, and OAC modules.
Collaboration:
- Experience working directly with functional users to align testing and reporting with business needs.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
